Hey! SO I’m SUPER excited to share these REALLY fun Easter Cupcakes for Kids with you today! They are made using cupcakes, jelly beans, and some free paper downloads I made for you!

But let’s just say it how it is guys, the only reason I went to all the trouble (and they took a ton of time!) to make these for you, hahaha, well 1. I love you, but 2. is because Bing sponsored this post! KISSES BING!

It’s no secret that I love Bing (they helped me throw a BOMB Parisian baby shower and let me throw the BEST dinner party) they are one hands down one of my favorite brands to work with! And you’ll notice there are no ads on my site and I don’t do sponsored posts very often, so I mean, I’m a picky mama.

So when Bing asked me if I wanted to try out their new Bing Rewards program, and create a fun tutorial while doing it I said, YES PLEASE!

So this is actually pretty fun, because the way Bing Rewards works is when you use their search engine, you get points. Then you can use those points to get gifts cards! Gift cards to Amazon, food places, you know, the good gift cards.

To me it’s just like a credit card points system, except no guilt. Haha, cause you won’t have to pay anything off later with all the imaginary money you’re going to make (do you guys do that too?).

Anyway, try it, see if you like it, you just change your browser windows and then, you search for stuff.

KEEP going for the how-to!

So to get started on my Easter cupcakes for kids! I set up my phone browser so it worked with Bing Rewards and then searched for a carrot cupcake recipe:

Um, yeah, my phone has been like that since October. I know, maybe I should do more sponsored posts? HELP. No but really, I’m reading all these books on getting ahold of my financial future. Mama needs some direction. MORE ON THAT later!

So for the cupcakes you’ll need:

– Some cupcakes

My Easter Cupcakes free downloads

– Some clear tape

– A fat round pastry tip for piping frosting, this is my favorite kit: Ateco 6-Piece Pastry Tube and Tips Set

– A pastry bag or large ziplock bag

– Jellybeans in assorted colors

– Black sugar pearls for eyes if wanted

I ended up using this carrot cupcake recipe. It was yummy, pretty dense, but good. I recommend cutting the salt in half though. Eric LOVED them but they had a little bit of a bite to me.

1. Bake your cupcakes

2. While your cupcakes cool cut out (or make a kid who is old enough do it!) the paper wrappers and other odds and ends needed for the cupcakes (in the download).

3. Each cupcake is going to differ in size, so measure one paper wrapper around a cupcake, and decide how much overlap you’ll need on the back. Mine had about a half inch. Secure the back with clear tape.

4. Place your large round tip in your pastry bag, or ziplock bag with the tip cut off. Fill with frosting! I recommend my perfect buttercream. If you want to make it cream cheesy to go with the carrot cupcakes, replace a cup of butter with cream cheese.

5. Place the cupcakes in the paper wrappers BEFORE icing them. Trust me.

For the lamb I did little BOOPS. Technical term. And for the chick and bunnies I did swirls! But check back because tomorrow I’m posting a video on how to perfectly frost cupcakes!

6. Then add the jellybeans, paper embellishments and black sugar pearls to finish them off! For the lamb ears I cut a black jellybean in half with scissors.

And that’s it! Hoppy easter!
