Maybe it’s because I’m an old married hag now, or because I have nothing better to do, but this year, I AM SO READY FOR CHRISTMAS.
I love presents. I love them so much. I love giving them, I love making them, I love wrapping them, and hell yes, I love opening them. But when I was in school, (long lustful sigh) by the time I’d finish finals, breaking up with whatever boy I was with for the season, and everything else, I just was never as prepared for Christmas as I would have liked.
The last couple years most of my Christmas shopping took place the two or three days before Christmas. And that is NEVER fun. 1) I loath crowds more than your average person and become unreasonably angry and 2) I’m just mad the whole time because I think of all the cool gifts I could have gotten/made if I had thought about it a week or two before.
But not this year friends! Ha! No. I started drafting ideas for Christmas presents a couple weeks ago, and I’ve already made one! I know, it’s just one, but it took a lot of time, and I am excited! I can’t tell you what it is though.
The only problem with being so on top of things is that, like most people who act like 5-year-olds when it comes to presents, I have a hard time waiting to give the preset to the person! I want to give it to them as soon as it’s done! Christmas is over a month away! Should I really be expected to wait?
Anyway, wouldn’t it be fun if I gave all the people who read SheBlogs SheBlogs (like all 10 of you!) a Christmas present! Would you like that? What do you want!? Do you want a little Sprinkles the Pony? I thought you might…Stay tuned, and let me know if there’s something on your SheBlog’s SheBlog’s wish list. I’m not gonna go to all the trouble to make a present if you don’t want one, so let me know! I mean I need SOMETHING to do at work! Bah! I kid, I kid.
