Yayyayayayayyayay! This episode was awesome. Thank you SO much for sharing your money story!

I particularly love hearing about the unglamorous long hours spent working (and you guys have 3 kids!? Hats off!), prioritising, being open to new opportunities, doing the boring parts of the job you don’t always love, having such a positive attitude, advice about charging what you’re worth – while trying to change those annoyingly unhelpful money beliefs.

I’m in Tiffany’s 100RL course and am sooooo excited to hear your upcoming chat with her, Alison!

Also, I really love how you two are so supportive of each other’s creativity & dream-following. It’s really nice to hear a guy’s take on being a creative business owner.

Thanks for taking the time to put this podcast out for us!

I’ve listened to this episode a few times, especially in times when I’m wondering if my “asking price,” if you will, is too high. I, personally, know my worth and I think it’s a BARGAIN for how hard I’m willing to work and how much integrity I feel I bring, but that’s not why I’m commenting.

At one point you mention that you previously felt like you didn’t deserve to make money because you didn’t come from a poor background, which I can totally appreciate. Conversely, my family didn’t have much money AT ALL when I was growing up (of course I didn’t notice at the time) but because of that I too have realized that I have a particular relationship and feeling about money. Now that my husband and I are in a far better financial situation than we were growing it, it also feels uncomfortable at times because we can afford things I never pictured in my future and I often feel guilty because I was raised with the mentality that money was a burden, caused stress and there was never enough.

It just goes to show that a negative relationship with money comes in many forms and it’s born out of a plethora of life experiences. I am working on getting more comfortable with where I am now, and not where I just assumed I would be based on my upbringing.

Here’s to better relationships with money, ya’ll!
