This about sums it up.
Hey friends! Things have been crazy and fun lately. A lot of really amazing projects decided to come my way, and would you believe it? They are all mostly because of my How to Be Awesome series! I’m so excited, humbled and overwhelmed it’s kind of hard to know what to do next.
So I decided to throw a really intense birthday party for Rad with only 1 weeks notice. Haha. It seemed like the only logical thing to do at the time…
But, do you know what it’s like, to put your heart and soul on a platter, and serve it up to people day after day and year after year? Sometime people eat it up, sometimes they snub their nose, sometime they just full on disregard the plate. But I just keeeeeeeep putting that crap out there! haha. That’s basically what blogging, Instagram, YouTube and selling online products is like for me. It’s just so personal. Especially for me, because I only have one setting and it’s ALL IN. All the time. And I’ve been doing this for 7 years people.
I feel like spontaneously bursting into tears every hour or so. From joy, from stress, from lack of sleep. But I could not be happier.
So I’m just checking in to say hello. To say thank you. I have SO much good content for you coming up, I just need to get through this week.
I also wanted to let you know that on Tuesday, April 29, right before I hop on a plane to speak at Mom 2.0 Summit, I will be participating in an event called Listen To Your Mother, basically some great bloggers and writers get up and share an essay on motherhood. I will be sharing a piece that I haven’t shared online before, and I’m excited about it! Basically I thought, “What would I say to every single mom if I could?” and then I wrote an essay about that.
I actually don’t write about motherhood very often. I usually find it’s too personal for me and I’m not super open to potential comments, but it was nice to kind of put my thoughts together about how I’m feeling lately, especially now that Rad is one and I work during the day twice a week. Life! It’s nuts.
If you are in Salt Lake City or Utah County and that sounds fun to you, tickets are here! But you can also buy them at the door they say! It should be an uplifting little shin-dig!
What’s new with you?! Hope all is well.
Lot’s of love!
