So, as you know, I’m totally geeking out over Halloween. Honestly, I can’t stop. But I have started limiting myself, and my new rule is I can only make things out of supplies I ALREADY have. I bought 3 sets of these unpainted nesting dolls almost a year ago. I had grand plans to use them as Christmas gifts, but you know, never got to it. So I decided to sacrifice one set of nesting dolls to the Halloween spirits.
Basically I just drew on the lil guys with pencil, then painted them in. I used my Martha Stewart acrylic paint, because honestly it’s the best of all the acrylic paint I’ve tried. And then I gave them a finishing coat with Martha Stewart Decopage Durable Gloss finish. Ginger has taken them hostage and I seriously CANNOT find them now. Haha, good thing I at least have some pictures as proof to their existence.
Recognize that polkadot background in the last picture?! Yes, it’s a leftover from my Party Twirler printables. Be sure to head to that post today to enter to win a HP Printer! I’ll announce the winner tomorrow!
