Last night I tripped over my purse for THE LAST TIME. It suddenly occurred to me, “If I had a hook for this thing, then I wouldn’t leave it on the floor by the door!”
I know, I’m WILDLY observant of my surroundings. I bought some fun oxen head wall hooks a few years back at a handmade market, and I’ve been rotating them all over the house. I grabbed one, put a nail in the wall by my door and BOOM! I had a place for my figgen purse.
It’s absolutely amazing to me how much a well-placed hook can better ones life. Eric and I put a little box in the kitchen with hooks for keys and a place for mail about 3 months ago, and it’s like the best thing that has ever happened to us. We ALWAYS know where the keys are and we’re not arguing back and forth, “No YOU had them last!”

since my house is decidedly a brass/gold house (we don’t care enough to change it all!), i think i might need to grab some of those gold hooks for my entry-way area that i am working on! and i am in love with that bulldog hook – perfect for a leash.

thanks for hooking me up…hahahaha. I have the hop wall hook for my kiddos coats. I’m looking to add an eclectic assortment of hooks to our entryway-I forgot about those safari hooks. I think I’ll order one of those next.
