Obsessed: Yao Cheng Design Watercolors

Obsessed: Yao Cheng Design Watercolors
March 6, 2013 Alison Faulkner

Yao Cheng Design on Etsy (for prints) // Yao Cheng Design on Society6 (framed prints, pillows, iPhone case)

To me, nothing says spring like a beautiful watercolor! I recently came across Yao Cheng Design and I’ve been DIYING over her! I love how she can make watercolor modern, without it being too trendy! She has so many good prints and patterns.

The most exciting part of this whole shenanigan: Yao is going to contribute some watercolor DIY’s to The Alison Show as well as some tips on how to get started in the art of watercolor. I’m so excited because I really don’t have too much experience with watercolor and I can’t wait to hear her sage advice!

In the meantime you can let Yao’s work put a little spring in your step.

Hope all is well,

That yellow Ginkgo?!?!?!??! All winter I’ve been dreaming of planting one of those trees in my yard! This is the year! And I want that print so bad!
