I’m SUPER excited about this DIY! It’s my first contribution for Minted’s new blog called Julep. I made this a while ago and I’ve been dying to share it with you! It’s quick and inexpensive enough that you totally have time before Thanksgiving to get it done!

As you can see the larger acorns have chalkboard paint on them. Gigi has been LOVING them all month. She likes to put the glitter acorns in a pile, and the chalkboard acorns in a pile. I find the little piles all over the house. She also loves swinging the acorns by their stems. I was worried she would break them but they’ve really held up!

The chalkboard acorns would also work really well as place cards and a distraction at the kids table (or adults!).

super cute but………………… where did u get the acorns, or what did you use to make them? did you use plastic Easter eggs and the Jumbo ones? I read this 4-5 times no where does it say how to make them, I get you painted and glittered and used twine to wrap but would love to know where you got them or what you used to make them ~Thanks for sharing Love it!
