If you followed me on instagram over the holidays (@thealisonshow) you would have seen my pom-pom wreath inspired by the BEAUTIFUL ones that Elsa Bag’s makes. Here’s what the sucker looked like in the making.

I’m not gonna lie, this took an exceptionally long time to make! Especially because my wreath form was 18″. That is VERY large. But! I now wish I had one for EVERY holiday! Nicole (from Elsa’s Bags) has the cutest Valentine’s one you MUST check out.
In the height of my pom-pom madness Susan (you know, from Freshly Picked!) and I made a little tutorial video on how to use the pom-pom making contraptions!
I have a few tutorials coming up that will involve the use of pom-poms! So I suggest you start preparing yourself now! It is afterall, according to my mother-ship, NATIONAL CRAFT MONTH!!!
I hope you have a fab weekend! And if you put any bold lip tips to use, please TELL ALL.

stop being so awesome. martha is getting jealous, gurl.
I know that it isn't awesome to leave comments unrelated to the post here buuuuut I had to. LOOOOOOVED meeting you today at Meta's. I'm SO dang excited to do some sewing with you guys. And I say, maybe there needs to be some neon fabric paint incorporated. Hm?
Hi there! I accidentally found your blog yesterday and stayed glued to it for two hours, reading almost all of your posts. You r officially my new blogger crash. I admire your energy, your creativity and your restlessness. Also, my husband and I have been thinking about having a baby, but I ve been postponing the whole thing for a while now because I m scared that my life will turn boring and predictable and that I wont have a young spirit anymore (I know, I know I have issues) but reading your blog has showed me that it doesnt have to be that way. Life can be fun and exciting with a baby as well. Anyway, keep blogging girl
Had to tell you that we have matching yellow owl shirts. Just another reason why we belong together.
thanks for the shout out! love the video
