Simple Tote with Neon Piping

Remember a while ago how I devised a plan to keep Ginger safe during a Zombie apocalypse? You know, the one that involved her matching her bedding? Well, now I have a way to keep my tote bag safe too.

and so you can tell it’s actual bedding (the same blanket in fact)…

Apparently I really need some new fabric. I’ll be accepting suggestions.

I wanted to get in on this neon trend, but I wasn’t quite sure how to go about it. Then, during my mad dash through Joann’s for their Memorial day sale, I grabbed some of this neon green piping. This tote bag was SUPER easy, and this was my first encounter with piping, and it’s pretty simple too! I had some snafoos here and there, but, it’s a tote. The whole tote used almost the whole package. I feel pretty good about my $3 neon investment.

And because you don’t get enough pictures of me…right?

So that’s the neon…and then I decided, HEY it’s Friday! Let’s get wild. You probably need some pictures of Ginger eating her noodles. Here you go!

I love those little feet. They never stop moving. Also, they are itty bitty. She still wears 0-3 month size shoes and she is 8 months old. I have probably told you that before. I must be subconsciously proud of it. But I wear a size 8.5 and I’m only 5.5, not huge, but not small. The pediatrician called Ginger’s piggies “Cinderella” feet. Isn’t that adorable? You have my permission to munch on them.

Well, I hope you have a fabulous weekend! Make yourself some fancy fringe, share a little love, knock some boots. Yeah I said it. Knock some boots (monogamously of course!)
